17/01/2008 : New year, new tour...

So here we are on a new UK tour with From Autumn to Ashes and Flood of Red. It's our first day off and I've just woken up in the fabulous and not-at-all-fucking-freezing Britannia Hotel in glorious Wolverhampton. We're 5 shows in so far and, apart from being covered in mysterious bruises from the two back lounge disco-mosh parties we've had already, I'm having a good old time.

We have FATA on the bus with us. Luckily they're all fantastically cool people and everyone's getting along just fine. Great band too, a pleasure to tour with.

So this trip is taking place amid fresh turmoil in the world of HR, V2 records having been bought by Universal and immediately dismantled and destroyed. I fucking swear that we have the the worst luck ever. Come work with HR!!!! Get sacked!!!!!! If it wasn't so funny it would be hilarious. We're currently in the process of getting the album re-released and getting a new single on the way. Watch this space.

Lying in the bed adjacent to mine is one Curtis Tyler Mead of Hollywood, California. He is the extremely competent, single and disease-free bass player who is touring with us whilst Andy 'The Andy' Gilmour takes his first steps into the deep plunge of fatherhood. And a fine job they're both dong, too. Mr Gilmour came to the show in Southampton the other night. Having him standing side stage was an almost completely bizarre experience. Awesome!

Thanks to everyone who's come out to the shows. As always, your continued support is what keeps us going and seeing you all singing the words back at us makes all the other shit melt away. You fucking rule!!!

Larry.
