22/01/2010 : Happy Birthday To Us! A Competition, A Sale, A Memory
Believe it or not, it's ten years ago today that HR played their first proper show - 22nd January 2000 at The Peel in Kingston, supporting Spy Versus Spy. Unforgettable for loads of reasons - 300+ people showed up to see 4 totally underground, unsigned bands; Ashley Bird (soon to be editor) of Kerrang! came all the way out to Kingston; it was my birthday show, so the date was easy to remember.
We gave three homemade HR CDRs out that night. One was to Ash, another to Dan P Carter (who was in 'A' at the time) and I can't for the life of me remember who got the third, it may have been tank - excellent choices, anyway. They were the only demos we ever made - two months or so later, HR were in Kerrang! and supporting Kittie at The Garage.
Nuts to think that was before camera phones and digital cameras and suchlike... My photos from that show are lost in the ether (but if you have some PLEASE email - info@hundredreasons.com - because I'd love to see them) so here's a shot from the very first photo shoot HR ever did, spring 2000.
So there we are. We are ten. LET'S CELEBRATE!

and that's how to finish one! Massive thank yous to Canterbury and Scholars for being brilliant and most of all THANK YOU if you came to a show, hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

29/10/2009 : Singles Club 4
Continuing in the tradition that paired HR tracks with Douglas, Hell Is For Heroes, Errortype:11, Brigade and Orko... Singles Club 4 is coming! The free download EP will include the previously unreleased radio edit of 'Break The Glass' plus tracks from touring partners Canterbury and Scholars.
From the first date of the tour (7th November) you'll be able to download all three tracks in exchange for your email address. We'll be posting the link to coincide with the first date of the tour.

Not a moment too soon, it's very nearly time for us to get our rock on again. This weekend, in Folkestone and Knebworth, we will perform for your delight and enjoyment. But first, we have news...
Big news. As of 13th August, I'll Never Know will be available as a FREE download for Guitar Hero. You might've heard of it, it's a game..? You can register to get the latest Guitar Hero news (and indeed this download) by CLICKING HERE.
In other downloading news, from Monday you can get the download of QUICK THE WORD, SHARP THE ACTION via the iTunes Store for just £5! The reduced price applies for a month, so don't hang about.
We've hooked up with our very good friends at Atticus for the forthcoming UK tour. They'll be producing an exclusive item of merch for us. 30/06/2009 : Give up the day job
Work is the scourge of the rocking class. That was what Mr Wilde really said, and so it has proved.
Due to unforeseen changes in Andy B and Ben's schedules (they are overseas with another artiste) HR are no longer playing Guilfest. Changes to said artiste's touring commitments left us with no other option.
Big apologies to all who were coming along and to everyone at Rock Sound and Guilfest. Cancellation is only ever the final straw for us and if there was any way we could be there, we would be. Sorry.
